About Rolling Grace: Our Purpose and Editorial Vision

About Rolling Grace

Rolling Grace is a travel, food, and sustainability publication based in Malaysia, covering Asia with editorial depth and a focus on place, culture, and responsible travel.

What began as a personal space to document journeys and meals has grown into an editorial platform guided by discernment, impact, and responsibility. Each story is chosen deliberately, with attention to how a place is inhabited, how food is produced, and how everyday decisions shape communities and the planet. We focus on experiences grounded in craft, respect, and long-term impact, rather than excess or spectacle.

We seek out travel experiences and culinary explorations that value origin, process, and people, from small producers and independent kitchens to places that move with care. Sustainability, for us, is not a category but a way of observing the world, embedded quietly in the stories we tell and the choices we highlight for a global readership.

What Rolling Grace Covers

Rolling Grace focuses on three core areas:

Travel
Stories and guides shaped by time spent in a place, where culture is encountered through streets, conversations, and daily routines rather than landmarks alone. The writing pays attention to how destinations feel when you stay long enough for first impressions to soften.

Food
Coverage centres on the people, techniques, and decisions that shape what ends up on the plate. Restaurants and ingredients are explored through process and intention, with flavour treated as the outcome of labour and ethics rather than trend.

Sustainability
An ongoing examination of how travel and food intersect with responsibility and consequence. These stories consider impact quietly, looking at how choices affect land, livelihoods, and continuity over time, often beyond what is immediately visible.

Readership & Demographics

Rolling Grace reaches an international audience, with its strongest readership based in Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, China, India, and the Middle East. This reflects a growing global interest in place-led travel and food storytelling beyond a single region.

The core audience sits within the 25 to 34 age group, followed closely by readers aged 18 to 24. This suggests sustained engagement across early career and mid-career readers, rather than a narrow demographic spike.

The readership is predominantly female, with approximately 70.2% women and 29.8% men. Rolling Grace content is distributed primarily through the website, supported by selective sharing across social platforms to extend reach without diluting editorial focus.

About Rolling Grace Team

Grace Ng Pei Huey

Editor-in-Chief

Grace is the Editor-in-Chief of Rolling Grace. She works across digital marketing, content strategy, and editorial direction, with a long-standing focus on travel and food.

Her interest in travel developed through extended independent travel across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. That experience continues to inform how she approaches places, stories, and cultural context, with emphasis on observation rather than spectacle.

Grace oversees the editorial direction of Rolling Grace and contributes writing shaped by first-hand experience, attention to detail, and long-term perspective.

Contributors

Rolling Grace works with a small group of contributing writers, primarily women, who balance professional careers with independent writing.

Contributors come from varied backgrounds, including engineering, finance, and offshore work, bringing different perspectives to travel and food storytelling. Among them are writers such as Sheela Vijayan and Aliza Hasan, whose paths into writing reflect the publication’s interest in lived experience over conventional credentials.

Work with Rolling Grace

Rolling Grace collaborates selectively with brands and organisations whose values align with the publication’s focus on place, culture, and thoughtful storytelling.
