The Jameson Christmas Trail brings one of Kuala Lumpur’s more distinctive festive experiences to the city’s bar circuit, moving across a curated selection of venues through the holiday season.
Kuala Lumpur steps into the season with a warm glow as Jameson brings its Cheers and Cheer Christmas Trail to Chinatown throughout December. The month is shaped by gatherings that feel easy and familiar, guided by music, markets, crafted drinks, and the quiet comfort of shared nights out.
While celebrations unfold across Penang and Johor as well, Kuala Lumpur remains the heart of the circuit with its own full day program that turns Kwai Chai Hong into a festive meeting point for the city.

Christmas Tree in the Heart of Chinatown
The season settles first in Kwai Chai Hong, where Jameson’s Christmas Tree rises between heritage walls and soft lantern light. Its glow spills into the alley, drawing visitors into a space that already feels timeless.
Small Jameson trees appear across participating bars throughout Malaysia, adding a gentle nostalgic thrill to the month for those who enjoy stumbling upon lights in unexpected corners of the city.

Cheers and Cheer All Day in Kuala Lumpur
On 20 December, Chinatown becomes the centre of the celebration. The day opens with a curated preloved market from 12PM to 6PM featuring vintage finds, streetwear, vinyl, and pieces shaped by earlier stories. A coffee rave hums through the afternoon with sets by Mdm Woo, Saucie J, Julia Deychuk, Kvn Kelvin, and Viene. Their mix of disco house, tech house, and Afro house gives the lane an unhurried pulse that suits the warm afternoon light.
Seasonal pours such as the Jameson Irish Coffee add a gentle richness to the crowd’s slow movement between stalls. As evening settles, the celebration expands across multiple venues with sets by Vanns Ngo, X.U. and Kent, MyllerFox, Gasing, Ethan Chu, Sam Wong, and Chaseylain and Ribut. The music shifts from melodic house to hip hop and future beats, shaping a night that feels intimate, social, and unmistakably Kuala Lumpur.

Bar Crawls in Johor and Penang
Beyond the capital, Johor opens the nationwide circuit on 19 December with Noyee and The Star leading its Christmas party and a month long festive cocktail menu that encourages relaxed gatherings. Penang brings the celebration into Christmas night with a lively route across Backdoor Bodega, No Bar Here, Good Friends Club, and Batu Cafe. Its DJs and live acts move through disco, house, Afro house, and deep house, creating an atmosphere that mirrors Penang’s playful character.
Penang also carries Jameson Black Barrel into dining with three charred and crafted menus served between 26 November and 26 December. These menus at Firewood, Lucky Hole, and Rembar add a culinary layer to the season with dishes shaped by smoke, richness, and the warmth of the spirit.

The Jameson Digital Passport
A digital passport ties the nationwide circuit together. Each participating outlet features a QR code that unlocks a set of seven festive tasks inspired by the letters in J A M E S O N. Guests earn seasonal bonuses such as a Jameson Ginger Lime and limited merchandise as they move through the tasks. Completing the full passport opens the chance to win Touch N Go reload pins and three Apple Watch SE units.
The passport can be completed across multiple nights and multiple cities for those who enjoy creating a festive route of their own.

Jameson Festive Gift Sets
Jameson’s festive gift set is available across Malaysia for those hosting at home. It features a bottle of Jameson Irish Whiskey with a complimentary miniature Jameson Black Barrel. The set can be found at major supermarkets as well as the Pernod Ricard Official Store on Shopee and Lazada.
