Food Menu & Signature Dishes
As you step into the reimagined world of Chalet, prepare your palate for an exquisite journey through the most sumptuous culinary landscapes. Here, only the pinnacle of imports graces your table: imagine the tender embrace of Maine lobster, the refined taste of Norwegian salmon, the delicate complexity of Zuercher Veal Emince, the robust charm of New Zealand rack of lamb, and the luxurious depth of Australian wagyu.
Yet, it's the return of Chalet's iconic canard ala presse, a whole roasted duck prepared in a classic press for two, and the cote de boeuf roti ala Anglaise, an homage to the British roast complete with slow-roasted beef, a baked potato, Yorkshire pudding, and bearnaise sauce, that promise a rendezvous with history and taste, crafted to spark memories and create new ones in equal measure.
But what’s a crown without its jewels? The Chalet pop-up ensures the sparkle isn’t just in the ambience but extends to your dessert plate and beyond. Imagine the crepes Suzette, served with a flamboyant flambé right at your table, reviving the spirit of Parisian bistro culture with every zesty, sugary bite. The dessert roster boasts such delights as the souffle glace au Grand Marnier, warm strawberry souffle, and the sabayon, a creamy blend of egg yolks and sugar enchantingly prepared beside your table, with waiters performing what can only be described as a ‘sabayon dance’.
And, as the night winds down, the legendary coffees of yore make their grand return—Café Royale, Café Calypso, and the much-feted Kafi Luz—each a tribute to Chalet’s legacy, ensuring your journey comes to a close on a note as high as the Swiss Alps. In this culinary escapade, you're not just dining; you're participating in a rich narrative that marries tradition with innovation, a tale waiting to be tasted and told.
