Kampung Kubang Badak
The village of Kubang Badak is home to a unique tidal river estuary ecosystem. It is packed with geological diversity, pristine mangroves and a rich cultural history of the early Thai settlements. The main attraction here is the BioGeoTrail, a project which is the result of a strategic partnership between the Langkawi Development Authority, the Langkawi Research Centre, and Sungai Kubang Badak Langkawi Limited. It is a new sustainable geo-tourism product created for both local and foreign visitors.

Sightseeing at MAHA Tower
The spanking new MAHA Tower or Menara MAHA is the next biggest attraction in Kuah, Langkawi. It stands at 138 meters tall with a robust steel structure. Tourists will have the opportunity to climb to the viewing deck located about 102 meters above sea level to see the city, even as far as the beautiful Tasik Dayang Bunting. It is named after Malaysia's former prime minister, Tun Mahathir, who officiated the launch. This prestigious tower is expected to launch in 2022.

Mee Ketam at Crab Farm Langkawi
Crab Farm Langkawi is a restaurant serving the freshest giant mud crabs which are grown on-site. Other than the signature Mee Ketam, you can also find delicious Mee Udang (prawn noodles) and Ketam Kukus (steamed crabs). Masa bulan Mac ada pergi ke Langkawi tapi short vacation ajer. Pergi ke makam mahsuri, panorama Langkawi naik kereta kabel dan sky glide yang baru tu. Try makan kat Hafiz laksa berdekatan dengan Panorama Langkawi tu. Tepi pantai ajer dan makan roti canai sarang burung kat Warung Roti Canai Penarak. So sedap!!!

ReplyDeleteAfter reading this, I realise there are still plenty to be done at Langkawi even though I have been there twice recently....The Maha Tower though looks mighty similar to another landmark in another place. Ha :D
